First stage – Ramside Hall

On 9^th of June 2022 Linda and the JFW Team where nominated for the category “Heart of the Community” for this years Northeast Business awards which was held at the Ramside Hall. This gave the team the opportunity to get glitzed and glammed with their hair and makeup done ready to take on the ceremony (and hopefully their award). Once the team had arrived they were greeted with a glass each of fizz at the doors and all manage to take a few photos before entering the main hall where they would all be seated. Once the team had found their table they all got the chance to mingle with other business that attended and also faces that they knew. Once the ceremony finally started the team took their seats and waited anxiously but patently for the category to come up. After celebrating other wins the team’s category for Heart of the Community came up, Linda sitting anxiously while watching the centre’s presentation being presented on screen it was finally the moment where the winner was about to be announced. . . . and they won!

The whole team stood up and roared with cheer as Linda walked down to retrieve their award and gave a wonderful speech backstage thinking that this would be the only award that they will get for the year (how wrong the were!). As the night went on the team received their three-course meal and celebrated together on their accomplishment, what a great night it was.

Second Stage – Hardwick Hall

After receiving their first award at the NBA at the Ramside Hall the team were then invited to the next stage of the ceremony where this time it was held at Hardwick Hall where the team were nominated for the same category. Once again the team but on their best dresses and had their hair and makeup done and attended the stunning venue greeted with prosecco and arrival. With more competition with many other great business and organisation the team felt more nervous but relaxed as the ceremony went on. Finally, the category was up and the team sat tensely for the moment.

. . . . they only went and done it again!
